Deform by motion vector? - Ihno - 08-30-2023

Scan I stretch particles along their motion vecors? Somewhat like the classic bouncing ball animation?

I dont want to use soft bodys as I dont really need it to be physically acurate, also im gonna simulate quite a few particles.
Simple scaling along the motion vecor would do. It's sort of a geometry motion blur effect-

You need more than just motion vector scaling for an effect like that. You also need to measure acceleration and decceleration to figure out when to squash and stretch. It's do-able, but only with the Script operator.
