Thread: Electrical cables simulation
Post: RE: Electrical cables simulation
Do you have any video reference of this?
Particle bind and modify bindings should be enough for this, but only in simplified cartoony version that I see in my mind.
Something like this:

Thread: Questions about tyCache and Cloth
Post: RE: Questions about tyCache and Cloth
Well, the most straight-forward option for me would be, if birth flow could just inherit cloth mesh from refenced TyFlow.
It can inherit particles, but it won't inherit skinned cloth bind mesh.... a... |

Thread: Questions about tyCache and Cloth
Post: RE: Questions about tyCache and Cloth
I usually do this by just doing snapshoot of the TyFlow once the cloth settles.
Then I import that new object in new TyFlow via birth object... and then I just copy paste my cloth bind operator, and... |

Thread: Springy Skin (TyFlex Operator?)
Post: RE: Springy Skin (TyFlex Operator?)
Have you tried wobble operator?
From your description, this might be just the thing you are searching for.
I think there even might be wobble example official file with grass field.. |

Thread: Shapes with animation are very slow.
Post: RE: Shapes with animation are very slow.
I am not sure if it matters at all, but I've tried this scene in Max 2024 and TyFlow 27 (so, one previous version), and the shape operator didn't worked in animation mode at all.
I quickly disabled ... |

You need to do 3 things.
1) Connect your spawn operator to empty event that just have display operator (otherwise every spawned particle will spawn another, and it will crash your max).
2) In the ... |

Thread: Find Target + Follow path??

I am drunk now, but will try to help.
Have you tried changing time test from "particle age" to "event age"?

When you add spline paths operator set to particle bind, it doesn't work?

you mean some splines? Not all?

Thread: tySplines locked to neighbors

You can send them in separate event and then "spline path" them there.
Just use send out operator, and set timing to frame mode, to send particles to the new event and in that new event copy-instanc... |

I don't think you need find target for this kind of stuff.
Here is how I would create it:
I would create box 1, then I would create slightly smaller box 2
I would birth particles (let's say 1000... |

Can you render with instances when you import your TyCache in TyFlow via Birth flow and Flow update (and of course mesh operator set to instances)? |

Thread: How do a soft selection
Post: RE: How do a soft selection
There is maybe a better way, but you can make force gradually affect particles based on distance from the object with slow operator.
Here is I quick example I did.

And I thought it's regular question, because in TyFlow, making sim like this with physX or cloth would be quite interesting. :)
