Hello 3dsyn! In my understanding - the "max fractures per frame" does only affect the amount of operations per frame, it does not have anything to do with the size of the elements or anything else. S...

Thread: Turbosmooth OK on Tyflow, not OK on TyCache
Post: RE: Turbosmooth OK on Tyflow, not OK on TyCache

It turned out like this: 1. To render any modifiers on top of the TyCache on my workstation it was enough to turn off tyCache/Display/Acceleration/Use GPU instancing. 2. However to render with modif...

OK, I get that. so adding another fracture in succession (filtered for the larger parts), and then sending out the unfractured rest (below min) should do the trick. Will you consider adding a "equa...

The min/max value is not exactly clear to me: 1. I take it that at max volume the set number of points is used - is that right? 2. What is the number of points at min volume value? 2? (which is the ...

Hello Makco! You are not alone, For I am here with you Had the same old script, And it crashed Tyflow here, too! Anyway... the script is a lame Autodesk "fix" for, you guessed it, layers which ...

Hello again ;) When the "Max" value of the subdivided particle's volume is set to, say, "1", then  every particle with a bigger volume does not get fractured - is that correct, or a bug? If it is co...

Post: RE: Turbosmooth OK on Tyflow, not OK on TyCache

OK I checked: 1. The TyCache is as fast as the TyFlow to turbosmooth right now. 2. However there is a problem with network rendering (backburner) rendering: - the TyCache does not render over netwo...

tyFlow Wrote: (09-16-2019, 02:36 PM) -- You have GPU instancing enabled in the tyCache. That needs to be disabled for any modifiers to work. This is stated in the docs...always good to check there fi...

Unfortunately the latest version (v0.16046) does not turbosmooth the TyCache at all. The cache object disappears upon applying ts. Disabling the modifier brings it back.

These 2 sentences: 1. There is no way to tell max to only apply a modifier to certain particles.  2. However, you can differentiate the particles of your flow with particle groups, then create a...

I wonder if it is possible to apply modifiers (noise, turbosmooth etc) only to a selected event (or an export group)? I know the "Enable particle interface" does something, because when it's enable...

I bet this is a simple one, but I can't find anything about this in manual? Sometimes it is helpful to just see the particle count next to the event's name.
