Hi, I've already read a threads about abc problems and bad max alembic importer. But it seems, tyflow doesn't export material id in abc at all.
I've tried to use tyflow alembic exporter, and produced geometry doesn't contain matID at all. I've imported it in maya and houdini and max. Nothing.
I'm using latest build, and tried every option of Material ID operator (static, bake, not bake etc...) with different options of Mesh operator.
My test setup is very simple, there're even no changing of topology. Just a static sphere.
Maybe i do something wrong? How to save mat id to alembic using tyflow exporter?
