Exporting particle memory is not enough
#1
HI,Tyson!

When exporting a large number of particles, the memory is finally full. What should I do? My memory has 64GB. Exporting more than one million particles is full. Is there any way to solve it?

You can disable caching while exporting.

Yes, I turned off the memory option. It will eventually be full.

It also depends on what kind of simulation you're running. For example, if you're doing hundreds of thousands of voronoi fractures, the individual meshes will quickly fill up RAM. Perhaps post a screenshot of your flow and I can try to determine what could be the cause.

About one million particles were born on an animated object and moved along with an animated surface object.
Since I need too much memory, I am now changing to 500,000 particles. Until now, the memory is almost full.

Oh gosh...I thought you were exporting to disk. But you're trying to export 1mil particles and convert them into scene nodes??? Any particular reason why? Max has a hard time handling a few thousand nodes...let alone a million! At least we now know why your RAM is getting filled Smile
