tyFlow Speed Test?
#1
Hi,

tyflow caching is just too slow for me. I'm not sure if the problem is in my hardware (i7, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070) or am I doing something wrong.

So, I have a small request   Big Grin

Could anyone please load my scene (max 2019), hit the play button, and let me know how fast is it?

The scene has 10000 particles, and for me, it takes 2 minutes for caching all 200 frames.

I really don't understand the tyflow workflow. If I change the wind, or anything else, I have to wait 2 minutes to see the changes. Also, I see that other people are working with millions of particles! HOW?

Just one more thing Cool , even if I wait 2 minutes, my animation is not fluid, every time it reaches 170-180th frame, it stops and starts to cache again. I checked my RAM memory after caching the scene, and it's at 45%, so I don't see why is this happening?

Could anyone please explain it to me? I must be doing something wrong.

Thanks!
