Explicit Normals
#1
Hi,

It would be great if tyflow could retain the explicit normal of the reference object.
Not sure if it's a "request" or wondering if i missed something Smile

I also found this, saying it's not retaining normals : http://forum.tyflow.com/thread-53.html?h...t=explicit

See below, i simply used "edit normals" modifier on the object :

All the best

I asked itoo about it as well. Since Forest doesn't keep it either.
Here's a bit of answer :
"3DS Max uses explicit normals only for viewport models, and requires a specific mesh class to store them."

Hi!

+ 1 for explicit Normals!

I'm quite new to Tyflow. I'm using Tyflow to animate "exploded views" from various CAD surface models. It would be awesome if Tyflow could retain explicit normals from the CAD surfaces.

Thanks!!

Tyson has put this requirement on the list. For more information, please read this:http://roadmap.tyflow.com

Yes I plan to eventually add explicit normal support, but currently it's pretty low priority on the todo list Smile
