Mapping color

Hi , i searched a little on the forum but didnt find an answer to my problem.

i want to map a texture ( gradiant ramp , or png sequence etc .. ) on particles in mouvement but i want the texture stay static !  so i created a tyflow simulation with  " mapping " and  selected "  mapping from object " and pick my plane texture but when particles move , the texture move too ..
Any idea to make this effect ?
