How to keep distance between particles? (tyActors)
#1
Question
Hello,

when I use particles (which carry tyActors , how can I prevent that they intersect?
It would be enough to define a sphere.

I am using them currently with "find target" for aiming them to a direction.

Thanks

You can use the Particle Physics operator to give particles a spherical radius that they will use to avoid collisions with each other.

Thanks, to use Particle PhysX to keep distance works fine for particles with shapes.
When I use the Particles to carry actors, the actors move immediately downwards as if there was gravity - but default gravity is off and there is no other force.

What could be the reason?

Investigated further:
Checking "Ignore Start Penetrations" of the Particle PhysX helped. But some move still constantly to the sides out of the picture...

Tyson clearly said Particle Physics, not PhysX.

Yes, I meant and used Particle Physics (it was just a misspelling).
