Keyframing cloth animations
#1
Hi everyone
It is possible to keyframing cloth animations?
Recently installed the plugin and try the flag example, it works great, anyway I have to export it as fbx to try, then open the fbx file with the windows 10 3d viewer tool, and I've got a static flag, non-animation on the flag mesh, as in the 3ds max 2020 it does.
So, it is possible to get the animations being transferred to an fbx file, in order to be used in a game engine?

I have tried a lot of scripts, plugins, but do not get it porting the animations made via modifiers such noise, cloth, mcloth, etc.

Or what I am doing wrong?
Should I threaten the tyFlow cache as a point cache when exporting files as fbx?

Thanks in advance Smile

I could be wrong but I don't think FBX supports regular deforming geo, only skinned meshes.

If you want to export deforming geo, you'll need to export as Alembic.
