birthing objects along a grid?
#1
I'm sure there is a real simple solution to this but i need to evenly distribute my birthed objects on a plane radiating out from center.  What would be the best way to set this up?

Thanks

Use a Shape operator and specify a teapot as the reference object.

sorry for being so dumb here, but now i need them birthing outward from center.

I created this initially with birth>shape>position object(using an animated torus to birth them)>rotation>physX shape so they drop in place. but i'd like their placement to be more uniform, which i wasnt able to achieve with fuse or spread.

the alternate set up is birth surface>shape - which aligns them perfectly but i lose the animated birth
