Node-Locked Pro License and Reinstalling Windows
#1
Question
Hey there,

I have to reinstall Windows on the machine I have my node-locked Tyflow Pro installed on, but am curious if there's anything I should know first about things that might potentially interfere with Tyflow's licensing.

I'm hoping that since all the internal hardware is staying the same, I shouldn't be too concerned about other changes (if I want to update my computer name or user account, for instance).

Thanks!

Simplest sure-fire way to upgrade a system like that, without interfering with your license setup, is to deactivate your tyFlow license before the upgrade, then reactivate after.

If an issue occurs where you're either unable to deactivate (or you forget), you can manually deactivate your license from your account page (https://pro.tyflow.com/account - license keys tab) and then reactivate after.

Great to know, and I will definitely follow that advice.
