Tyflow Actor error?
#1
Hi there,

I created a based Ty-flow sim that birth voxels on some geometry and I added a sphere shape.
I then ty-particle skinned it to some geo.

I loaded that skinned geo into a Ty-actor helper.

I created a new ty-Flow sim and imported that ty-actor helper with the actor operator.

The before and after result is as below. The particles in the second sim seem to load the voxel particles as clusters near the verts of the geo as opposed to being in a neat formation identical to the first sim.

Is this an error or am I missing something?

Thanks

Also PhysX collisons don't seem to work with this setup

tyActors only merge in bones (objects or particle bones, depending on the skin being used) that are influencing the underlying mesh. The particles are missing because they're not influencing the skin, most likely because the influence radius combined with their distance to the mesh vertices means they're not close enough to any vertices to have an effect.
