How to assign material to different material objects when use birth shape ? - annlee - 09-12-2019 I use Birth Shape with two different material objects. But I can just assign one material to them. How to solve this problem? Thank you for your reply. RE: How to assign material to different material objects when use birth shape ? - 3dsmaxinator - 11-10-2019 I have the same question. It pertains to this tutorial i was taking Code: https://youtu.be/tT0OKmeY4YQ I haven't tried yet, but a tip from another thread suggested using "Multi-sub Object" in the material editor but applying a material ID to different objects within the events. In my case, i would make the main logo material ID 1 and the shell material ID 2. Hopefully this works out. RE: How to assign material to different material objects when use birth shape ? - Mendax - 12-03-2019 You need to add 2 random Material ids on the material id operator and the just place your materials in multi-sub object! I think you need something like this! |
