Exclude scale from link to target? - insertmesh - 09-24-2019 Hey there, is there currently a way to exclude scale from the link to Target operator? What I´m doing right now: Birth sphere->convert to cloth->spawn once->set target (parent)->link to target What I wanna do next: Add scale1 (absolute=0) and scale2 (absolute=100). I want to interpolate scale2, so the spawned particles scale up from zero to 100, while being linked to the parent cloth particles. Right now it seems the linked particles are linked not only in position, but also in rotation and scale. I can still add some random rotation if I place it before the link to target, but that doesn´t work with the interpolated scale, because its happening in the same time step. So ideally there was an option like in object bind to exclude rotation/scale from the linking ...that is unless I´m doing it wrong here... RE: Exclude scale from link to target? - tyFlow - 09-24-2019 There's no option to do that currently but it's something I can look into. RE: Exclude scale from link to target? - insertmesh - 09-24-2019 Yeah, that would be great. I still only understand like a 10th of what we can do with the target ops... I found a workaround for this specific case though , I´m simply animating the scale of the shape instance. |
