materials (id) to tyflow cache? - flying-hawk - 05-03-2020 Hi. just 2 questions how can I I apply materials ids or new materials to subgroups a b in a tylflow cache without resimualtion. or do I have to appyl material id before caching? my problem . max is always crashing after around 200 frames of 300 I have 64 gb . disabeling caching doesnt really works. RE: materials (id) to tyflow cache? - tyFlow - 05-05-2020 You can't apply after caching, no. If you're still running out of RAM even with caching off, it could be due to your setup generating a lot of unique particle meshes (ex: tons of Voronoi shatters). Those cannot be cleared on a per-frame basis and will exist until the end of the sim even if caching is disabled. Not much you can do to get around that, besides either optimizing your sim or upgrading your RAM If you believe it's another issue, you can submit the file and minidump to support@tyflow.com for me to take a look. |
