Switch from from Object XYZ, to Explicit map channel (just click where it says Object XYZ, asnd change it to Explicit map channel) Then change scale of the noise, to something very small...like: 0,02... Now, I am not sure if this will fix your problem , but when working with 3D procedurals, Max viewport doesn't show correctly Object XYZ mapping, so safest is to swith to Explicit map channel. RE: Scale Operator - tyFlow - 04-06-2019 Your texmap is set to "Object XYZ" mode, which will not yield meaningful results to tyFlow. You need to switch to explicit mode, so that the texmap is based on your object's UVWs, as d4k3lf mentioned. Once you switch over, you'll need to adjust the scale of the noise since Object XYZ and Explicit mode yield very different results for the same scale values. It might seem at first that Explicit mode isn't even working at all....but drop the scale down to like .05 or something and you'll see your noise.
