tyCache produces "wrong" result - Alexx31 - 08-08-2020 Hello, maybe a beginner question: I have a simulation with leaves flying away from a plant (Birth Objects). When I cache this with "Export Particles (tycache)", then some of the leaves don't leave there position (or the original isĀ partly stilll there). What could be the reason? I just used "Generate tyCache files" with the same simulation of course. I also unchecked once all "include geometry" options, this had no effect. Thanks! RE: tyCache produces "wrong" result - tyFlow - 08-12-2020 Do you have hidden particles (particle in an event with no Display operator) that you're exporting by accident? RE: tyCache produces "wrong" result - Alexx31 - 08-12-2020 Yes, I have one operator without "display geometry", so that must be the reason, I didn't know that it makes them visible then. thanks RE: tyCache produces "wrong" result - tyFlow - 08-12-2020 You can filter out particles from export using export groups in a Particle Group operator. Then just select (or deselect) the corresponding groups in the Export Particles settings. |
