React with tyspline mesh in same flow - swihartc - 09-16-2020 Hey friends, I'm trying to figure out what the right tool to use for this; or if it is even possible without a circular reference. Basically, what is the workflow for making particles in the same flow to react with a skinned mesh based on that flow? I tried birth flow, flow update and actor operators. I feel something isn't working right. An example would be vines growing over each other from the same growth flow. Or maybe how to make the tyspline a rigid body once it is formed. Any insight into the rules of the order of operations would be appreciated. Cheers CS RE: React with tyspline mesh in same flow - tyFlow - 09-16-2020 Typically you would just sim the knots using Particle Physics, PhysX or even the new CUDA Cloth Solver, then apply a Spline Paths operator as usual. I'm not sure why the need for circular reference... |
