Render TyCache across network - Luche - 11-04-2020 Hey all, I'm trying to find a workflow or tutorial for this but so far my searches are turning up empty. I have a scene where a few objects smash up through the ground using TyFlow for the particle work. It's naturally all physics based and when I rendered it across network with Vray, all the particles kept jumping from frame to frame because I forgot to take into account that the simulations would run different on each PC. So I have run export particles and have a network directory full of tycache files. Where do I go from here? I can't see an obvious method of getting tyflow to read the cache files and send them to each PC in the farm. Can anyone help with this? Thanks RE: Render TyCache across network - tyFlow - 11-04-2020 As long as the cache files are on a network share that all machines can see, you shouldn't need to individually transfer them to each render node. |
