export mesh from cache files - Tok Tok - 06-29-2021 Hello, I'm a new user to Tyflow so I'm not so familiar with all the settings. I have simulated 11000 particles (took some time) and saved them as tyflow cache files so they playback easily. Now I want to covert the last frame of sim to normal mesh that I can slice. Is there a way to do this? I know I can do this if I run the whole sim again but that takes a lot of time and tyflow becomes really slow if I want to work with this many particles. I would much rather convert to a mesh according to the cached sim files. Thanks! -Joep RE: export mesh from cache files - d4rk3lf - 06-30-2021 Just use your Tycache. Select Tycache, go to the last frame, disable GPU instancing, then with still selected Tycache, go to Tools - Snapshoot. RE: export mesh from cache files - Tok Tok - 06-30-2021 Tried that but didn't work. When turning off GPU instancing it does work! Thanks, this was the setting I was looking for. |
