Thinkbox Frost support - NIC_HAMILTON - 04-08-2019

This would be really handy for meshing particles, especially water stuff like drips, rain and condensation?
Can be done by PRT export but makes it a bit slow to iterate on.

RE: Thinkbox Frost support - super gnu - 04-08-2019

i might be wrong, but i believe you just have to enable the particle interface in the tyflow helper and it should work?

RE: Thinkbox Frost support - Heerockss - 04-08-2019

For me it works with frost. One thing that would be nice though would be the ability to select single events inside a tyflow container for meshing. But im not sure if thats more on Thinkbox`s side to make it possible.

RE: Thinkbox Frost support - d4rk3lf - 04-08-2019

I guess, you can just cache a single event to a prt, and load it into frost. Smile

RE: Thinkbox Frost support - NIC_HAMILTON - 04-09-2019

yeah you can PRT single events but for iteration thats a bit of a diversion.

Super GNU - thanks for the particle mode pointer i clicked that and got it to select part of a tyflow but would love to be able to isolate different events for meshing differently like in pflow.

You can isolate specific particles by assigning export groups to them, and then selecting those export groups within the interfaces rollout. Only matching groups will be sent through to 3rd party plugins.

great ill give this a go this evening!
