Visibility Operator - nayan - 07-31-2021 Can we have a visibility operator in tyflow, where we can gradually make particle visible or invisible according to the interpolation or keyframe animation or some condition. Of course this can be done with gradient ramp and mapping operator. Its just a thought came while working with gradient ramp and mapping operator. You see, you have made our lives so simple and easy, that even applying gradient ramp and mapping operator makes us lazy...... Thank you Nayan Bodawala RE: Visibility Operator - cgdvs - 08-01-2021 I agree with you. Although there is currently a "camera cull" operator that can achieve similar effects, this operator cannot be judged according to the "surface" test, The solution now is either to use the camera cull operator. Or separate the particles into multiple events, where the particles in one event do not render. RE: Visibility Operator - tyFlow - 08-02-2021 Visibility in max on a per-element basis can only be controlled with shaders. So, Mapping operator is already the best way to do it. RE: Visibility Operator - TubeSmokeGuy - 08-04-2021 You could write a shader (black/white fade map) which is especially designed to connect with tyFlow and would allow easy opacity fade per particle. C'mon, be brave, get in touch with writing shaders . |
