Why does "Set velocity" let particles stop? - Alexx31 - 08-24-2021 Hello, I was wondering now for an hour and feel like stupid: Why does Speed on "Set Velocity" let not move particles forward after a few frames anymore? Timing continuous, but they don't have velocity if they stop. Se attached screenshot. (to me it looks like a bug, but I'm sure I'm only missing something) Thanks EDIT: Maybe it has something to do because timing was set on continuous for the position on the TyIcon... I have seen now. BUt still a bit mysterious to me... RE: Why does "Set velocity" let particles stop? - tyFlow - 08-24-2021 You have your Speed and Position Icon operators *both* set to continuous. It's not that particles are stopped, it's that you're resetting their position every frame...so they never travel further than the distance they can travel in one frame...because they're sent back to their starting position each frame. |
