Possible to render tyCache with MotionBlur? (and another tyCache question) - Alexx31 - 09-03-2021 Hello everybody, I have cached a tyflow simulation. And in order to render the tyCache object I have applied an Edit Poly modifier and the same material as the tyflow had to it. It's rendering as expected - except: 1.) Motion Blur isn't rendering (it's a fracturing scene and the topology seems to vary between frames) There is the warning attached here as screenshot from vray. But the motion blur renders great with the original tyflow. 2.) and it seems to have a small difference in the simulation. I though when I cache and read in the cache again, it should be exactly the same? (It's not important, I only want to understand the difference) I guess I would have to take always the tyCache object for rendering, in case I want really to get the same simulation. (knowing about this can be important when re-rendering parts ![]() Thanks! RE: Possible to render tyCache with MotionBlur? If you're using VRay 5 GPU also make sure you've enabled the particle interface on your tyCache and are using the latest VR build. RE: Possible to render tyCache with MotionBlur? As far as I can see it is set to render as instances by default already. Screenshots attached, thanks for looking |
