"Hinge constraint" in tyflow - pjkw - 09-22-2021

Im trying to rig flaps hanging down from an object and I want them to rotate in one axis but otherwise be attached to a animated object.
Any hints on how I could do this? Ive managed to do something thats close with cloth but it seems overly complicated and I still get some deforming on the flaps which I dont want.
MassFX has exactly what I want (hinge constraint) but MassFX has alot of other shortcomings...

You can use a tyBind helper in combination with a tyActor to setup a hinge like that pretty easily. The tyBind helper contains all setting you'd need to constrain rotation, and the tyActor allows you to easily import it into your flow along with the objects you'd like to constrain.
