Is tyflow good to simulate secondary animations on characters? - noxxsan - 11-29-2021

Since i cant find any tutorial that cover this topic, soft bodies on skinned characters(muscle, breasts, belly jiggle), should i put some time and make it work using Tyflow or look elsewhere, like paid plugins or even outdated max Flex?

Things like muscles and jiggle sort of need a dedicated system for them. You could hack some tyFlow setup together but it's not going to be nearly as efficient or effective as doing it the "proper" way. Ziva dynamics are the current industry standard for that kind of thing.

I'd say if you dedicate time to understand and learn how binding works (I am still learning that) , you could achieve some very cool results.
And, in addition:
if we can say that secondary motion could be stuff like necklaces, chains, feathers, ripped cloth.. etc.. then Tyflow is awesome for that. Smile
