Save and autobackup gets corrupted - BeyondReality.de - 12-01-2021
Don't know if it is a tyFlow or Max2022 problem.
Very often when I press ESC to cancel a calculation (TyFlow or TyPreview) the save functionality of MAX gets corrupted. It's impossible to save the file anymore, even 'save as', 'autobackup' or 'hold' will not work. MAX starts the save process (you find the *.sv$ file) but cannot finish it anymore.
I think this always and only happens when MAX tries to do an autobackup and is interrupted by ESC, but is unable to complete it.
I use MAX 2022.2 with TyFlow 0.16130
Never had this issue with MAX 2020 and older TyFlows.

A problem like this would need to be submitted directly to Autodesk as a bug report.
But when it comes to Autobackup, if tyFlow begins evaluating during a save and you hold ESC to stop the simulation, it's expected that the autobackup would be cancelled too, yes.
