export cloth simulation to vertex animated mesh? - redflash777 - 12-07-2021 Hello, is it ever possible to export cloth from tyflow to animated mesh (not allembic)? I tried to export to tycache, but it doesn't want to export animation to fbx Is there a legal way to export mesh with baked keyframes? Thanks. RE: export cloth simulation to vertex animated mesh? - tyFlow - 12-07-2021 Does FBX even support raw deformations? I thought it only supports skin deformations.... What software are you trying to bring the cloth into? RE: export cloth simulation to vertex animated mesh? - redflash777 - 12-08-2021 I just wanted to have animated mesh with keyframes (like 3dsmax native cloth simulation can be converted to), because I wanted to manually remove some keyframes, and re-time some of them, before export to alembic. But I see now that it is too complicated, so probably I will give up on this. RE: export cloth simulation to vertex animated mesh? - d4rk3lf - 12-08-2021 You can use cloth itself for that. Just make sure you disable all the gravity and make all vertices as preserved. Simulate - convert to poly with keys - done I am not sure if Tyflow have that option. |
