[newbe] cloth-balls don't bounce back - Ralf - 12-27-2021 Hi, probably a newbe-question (as i am a newbe at tyflow): I am trying to animate 4 squishy balls, packed together in a caterpiller-like movement. (left on the jpg) If the geospheres don't touch, everything works fine. But if they do touch they seem fairly rigid. (right on the jpg) I played with the setting but i can't figure it out.... Help? what am i doing wrong? RE: [newbe] cloth-balls don't bounce back - tyFlow - 12-29-2021 What do your Object Bind settings look like? You don't want to use Sticky mode if you're using it on cloth... RE: [newbe] cloth-balls don't bounce back - Ralf - 12-29-2021 ah, that did the trick. it was indeed set to 'sticky' "Linear" increases the size for frame 0 to 1 a bit, but my problem has be solved in 1 sentence i play around with settings/dymamicmode thank you tyFlow for this advice and from tyflow as a whole (offcourse i have follow-up questions, like "how to put size in relation to the object-bind length with maxscript" orso... but for now, many thanks) |
