How to capture an event state containing PhysX Shape and Bind - SteveZuke - 01-11-2022 Hello! First time post and a newbie to Tyflow. (3dsmax and Pflow veteran ). I was wondering how to save a current event state of particles that make a a number of coiled strands using PhysX Shape and PhysX bind (see image). At a later stage in the animation, I need to reactivate this state and have them uncoil and collide with other objects. i was hoping a STOP operator would freeze everything for the length of the hold but there seems to be some active physx taking place as the particles continue to move. I am not sure if I need to Break/Unbind at the hold state but if so, I'll lose the bind relationships defined for each strand. Ideally, I would like to capture the the particles in their coiled state, save it, and eliminate need to animate the sequence in order to create the coiled state by simply loading these "properties" after particle/bind generation. Scene is attached. I hope this make sense. Thanks everyone. Really great forum! Cheers, SZ |
