Cloth Bind Mesh Add Shell to Surface - boogiepictures - 01-31-2022 Hey there, i got a simple question, in the cloth bind Operator i got a Problem with the Mesh Generate Cloth Mesh Shell Modifier: The Shell is not going along the Z Axis: (picture_01) Instead its going into the shape how to solve this? When i use another orientation for the tyflow node the shell goes in two directions (picture_02) RE: Cloth Bind Mesh Add Shell to Surface - tyFlow - 01-31-2022 Looks like it's having an issue calculating the extrude normals...can you attach the file? Perhaps there's a coincident vertex in the source mesh at those points. Best Marius RE: Cloth Bind Mesh Add Shell to Surface - tyFlow - 02-03-2022 Hi, I looked at the file but it's not clear what you're trying to do here...you're converting a circle spline in Cloth (which is fine), but are you trying to generate ring meshes, or disc meshes? Hey there: i wanted to do this tutorial: click Best mayo RE: Cloth Bind Mesh Add Shell to Surface - tyFlow - 02-08-2022 Try a tySplineMesher in extrude mode on your splines, then add a shell on that. It will sort of do things in the reverse order (give them height and then give them shell, rather than give them shell and then given them height), but it should be more reliable because the height direction can be specified in the tySplineMesher rather than relying on face normals. |
