Actors heavily distorted when using particle PhysX - Alexx31 - 02-16-2022

Hello,

I have an issue with distorted actors.

The rig worked fine before, then animation was refined and now the tyflow mesh is getting heavily distorted, when using Particle PhysX.

(I will send the scene also by email just in case)

Thanks for advice

Hi Alex,

I responded by email but for the benefit of others who see this thread:

When moving/adjusting/etc actors as a whole, make sure you send their rig particles out to another event. Right now you're not doing that, so the Particle Physics operator is affecting all particles (both actor root and rig particles), which is not desirable. Send them out to an empty event and the problem should resolve itself.

Thanks, so it means the actor should be at first built
and then right after that sent out with a "Send Out" into a new event.
And in the new event, I'm applying particle physX, forces speed, rotation.

It seems to work in a quick test Smile I'm just wondering, why the rig before worked then, and after some minor adjustments not anymore.

Attached the new flow here.
p.s. I just realized, that the Particle PhysX collision doesn't have any effect. I will ask that in a new thread to keep the forum tidy Wink

Correct was this:
