Is there a render speed differnece between multiple caches or one cache? - Alexx31 - 03-08-2022 Hello, is there a difference whether I'm rendering from one single tyCache or multiple tyCaches? And in case that a single cache would be faster, which is the best way to combine multiple caches into a single file? (tyflow using birth flow?) I did a rough test myself and it seemed to me not a big difference, but I'm not sure how it depends from the scene. thanks RE: Is there a render speed differnece between multiple caches or one cache? - tyFlow - 03-08-2022 I don't think the difference should be that hugely noticeable, no. In fact, recent builds of tyFlow are further optimized so that multiple tyCaches loading the same file only load it into memory once. So, even with multiple tyCaches a scene should be quite efficient. It won't be the identical, but I don't think the difference between single/multiple caches would be the main source of any potential bottlenecks. I often work with 5,10,15,20+ loaded tyCaches in a single scene.
