Bake tyParticleSkin modifier animation - jmanous - 03-30-2022 Hi all, I have a tyflow particle system as a soft body to my main object with typarticleskin modifier. I was wondering, is there a way to bake the animation to my main mesh object? Thank you for your time. john RE: Bake tyParticleSkin modifier animation - tyFlow - 03-30-2022 Not really sure what you mean by bake the animation....you mean bake in the deformations so that your skinned mesh is no longer dependent on the tyFlow sim? You can bake out a skinned mesh like that to a tyCache using an Export Particles operator within tyFlow. Just add your skinned mesh to the "additional geometry" rollout of the Export Particles. Note: the old beta version v0.16135 has an issue where tyCaches can't load deforming meshes. Either use the previous version or update to the latest. Much appreciation for your quick response, that is exactly what I meant. I will go trough your instructions using the latest version. Thank you! John |
