I'm not sure if this is a bug
Actor cannot read modifiers above skin.
I added a "turbosmooth" modifier to the skin modifier. After reading in particles, I found that there was no smooth subdivision effect. thank you

That’s correct. Any modifiers above skin will be ignored by actors.
