Material instance wont work - Fabrice - 06-02-2022 Hi I would like my particules to fade out in the end of there life instance of disappearing in 1 frame. So I animated the opacity of the material and want to apply it with a "material instance" operator but it doesnt work, I cant see my material when rendering (Scanline or Redshift). If I assign the material directly to the Tyflow object it works, but not with the "mat instance" op...why ? - (W10 + Max 2021 + RTX3090 + 128 Go) RE: Material instance wont work - tyFlow - 06-02-2022 The Instance Material operator only works with instances, so definitely won't work with Scanline and will only work with Redshift if you render as instances (Mesh operator > instances). RE: Material instance wont work - Fabrice - 06-03-2022 Ok, I set mesh op to "instances", assigned a default RS material to the Tyflow object and the rendered image is empty. What am I doing wrong? RE: Material instance wont work - tyFlow - 06-03-2022 Did you enable the particle interface on the tyFlow object (tyFlow > interfaces > enable particle interface). Redshift requires that to be on for instance rendering.
