Two-way simulation - JuhaHo - 08-05-2022

I have tried two-way simulation between Chaos Phoenix and tyFlow with a bit too heavy scene. I was suggested to turn of the caching option during simulation. Yes, that helped for the memory related crashes, but created another issue. It seems that when I leave caching off and start Phoenix simulation it takes forever (weeks or months). This is because tyFlow seems to have forgotten it's state on previous frame and needs recalculation from the beginning for every frame. Towards the end of the Phoenix simulation it starts to take days per frame.

Please correct if I'm wrong.

Try turning on manual sim reset mode from the editor right click menu.

RE: Two-way simulation - JuhaHo - 11-30-2022

I have another question for another simulation,

I have a container filled with Phoenix initial fill into certain level. Then there's three Phoenix liquid emitters and two liquid exit pipes (on open container sides). The issue is that I want an initial fill with particles prior to to Phoenix initial fill.

Is it animating Phoenix emitter Brush Effect % then?

It seems that Brush Effect % is actually on/off. If it has been set to 0% there's no liquid. If it's set to 0,1 % it's full.

I'm not sure I understand the question....
