Nested flows - dr_ron69 - 04-11-2019 Hey all amazing work from everyine so far! havent had a chance to play with TYFLOW yet but i was thinking about nested flows, does tyflow do this? as an example can i take a flow which output has cubesĀ emitting, then pipe this into a new flow and use the cubes surface/verts/volumesĀ to emit from? or have a "growth" type of effect in one flow and have this flow as an "animated shape" in another flow. kind regards Harv RE: Nested flows - tyFlow - 04-11-2019 Yup, you can do all that. RE: Nested flows - dr_ron69 - 04-11-2019 Oooo, nice, Tyson! Awseome work fella, keep it up! RE: Nested flows - dr_ron69 - 04-11-2019 sorry to bother Tyson iv set up my flow to try and do this. my first flow is simple cubes being emitted with speed and spin, mesh operator too. How does this then get "piped" into new flow? i tried "birth flow" and "flow update", which gives me a copy of the first flow, but i cant seem to figure out how to then "emit" from the cubes surfaces/ i tried birth shape too and pick the first flow, but that doesnt seem to work too. what am i missing? Sorry, just to clairfy i can get them particles spawning in new event , but not sure how to spawn from surface/volume/verts of the cubes think iv got it working Tyson needed the postion object event in there |
