taffy challenge - Narad13 - 09-16-2022 I have a client that wants me to create some text that looks as if it is made out of taffy, like you might see in a taffy stretcher. I'm attaching a reference image as well as my best attempt at doing this with geometry. I think that what is lacking with this approach is a sense of weight and some natural stretching and sagging that would occur IRL. Wondering if this might be a good job for tyFlow and how that might be achieved? Thanks in advance! RE: taffy challenge - tyFlow - 09-21-2022 This type of thing is better for a FLIP sim with extremely high viscosity. tyFlow doesn't have any kind of FLIP solver, so I'd recommend trying with a different plugin....PhoenixFD would probably be up to the task. |
