Property Test Material ID vs Mat ID - usc001 - 10-21-2022 Hello, could someone elaborate what is difference between "Material ID" and "Mat ID" Test-Types in Property Test? I figured, that the "Mat ID" have the expected behaviour. It checks particle meshes for their Material ID and returns true or false. So what does the "Material ID" Test-Type actually do? Its certainly confusing that they are named (almost) the same but have different behaviours. thanks in advance RE: Property Test Material ID vs Mat ID - tyFlow - 10-23-2022 Can you take a screenshot of what you're referring to? Property Test (in the latest build) does not have a test called "Mat ID". RE: Property Test Material ID vs Mat ID - usc001 - 12-10-2022 Hey, yes i attached a screenshot. Im not on the latest build though, so by your wording i guess its fixed already. Sorry for the post. RE: Property Test Material ID vs Mat ID - tyFlow - 12-10-2022 Yea, I believe it was renamed. Material ID reads the material ID override on a particle. Material ID (shape) reads the material of the first face on a particle’s shape mesh. |
