Okay, I'm gonna be the one idiot asking how exactly variation is applied to values (which might be obvious, but it isn't to me).
So, let's say I have a value of 10. What values do I get when I use a variation of 50%?
Values from 5 to 15? (= up to 50% in each direction)
Values from 10 to 15? (= up to 50% up)
Values from 5 to 10? (= up to 50% down)
Values from 7.5 to 12.5? (= up to 25% up and 25% down)
I'm really not sure...
