Spherical terrain generation - planets etc - ldotchopz - 02-07-2023
firstly, the terrain is incredible! I have only been playing with it for a couple of hours but really really amazing.
Not sure if it exists already as i've not used it long, but i couldn't see an option for making terrain spherical. I'm actually doing a project that requires making multiple planets.

The terrain is all based on heightmap manipulation...so it's not possible (well, maybe theoretically...but not in its current state) to do curved terrains and such. Best bet would maybe to be to generate a flat terrain and then wrap it around your sphere with modifiers. It won't be seamless but may look ok from certain angles.
