tyflow terrain animation - NIC_HAMILTON - 04-02-2023
hi there,
simple question that wasn't able to be resolved on the FB group.
trying to animate the phase of a terrain noise but am unable to do so even with timing set to 'continuous' and terrain noise operation set to 'set' but no matter what I do the terrain grows endlessly regardless of keyframes. am i crazy or just dumb and out of training
i dont recall these issues last time i used tyflow with particle stuff has something changed or do I need to roll back a tyflow version?
using current on max 2023 with a 3090

You need to make sure all terrain operators are set to continuous.
If you set the initial state of the terrain only on frame 0, then continually add noise every other frame, the noise will be additive because the initial state doesn't reset each frame.
Alternatively enable history-independent mode on the sim.
Ultimately if you can't get it working please post the file since I can't guess what your settings are.
