Bug reporting? - Undersky - 04-02-2019 Hi and thanks for allowing us to participate in the beta. Really fun and powerful stuff. How would you prefer us reporting bugs? Should we create new topics for every bug or should we have our own "personal" threads where we can post what we encounter? And what kind of extra information is of value to you? Max version? OS? GPU? Just by playing around for an hour or two I've already encountered several crashes, so there might be quite some topics in the beginning I'm afraid. But that's what a beta is for =) Once again thanks for this awesome tool. Makes me excited about 3ds Max again, especially with the lackluster update of Max 2020. RE: Bug reporting? - tyFlow - 04-02-2019 I think a post for the bug is fine. I'm keeping track of known bugs on the roadmap: http://roadmap.tyflow.com System information, steps to reproduce, etc, are all very useful. Generally I need to be able to trigger the bug over here to figure out the fix for it. If the crash happens mid-sim you can also turn on sim logging and if you're able to reproduce the error the log should say where in the sim the crash occurred. More info here: http://docs.tyflow.com/feedback/bugs/ I don't have a support ticket system or anything right now...might put together something like that in the future.... RE: Bug reporting? - Undersky - 04-02-2019 Allright, great! |
