Binding solver ? - rheogh - 05-31-2023 docs show that (bind stage) x (simulation time step) = (total number of evaluations) solver results are more accurate The more sophisticated the simulation time step, the smaller the value ex)1 ,1/2, 1/4 , 1/8 This is kind of weird The more sophisticated the simulation time step is, the less valuable it is It feels strange that the total number of evaluations is increasing Please let me know if I understand anything wrong RE: Binding solver ? - tyFlow - 05-31-2023 The fractional values represent how small a time step is. 1/2 means a time step is half a frame long, so to simulate a full frame you'll take 2 steps instead of 1. Same follows for the other values. 1/8 time step results in more overall steps than 1/2, etc. RE: Binding solver ? - rheogh - 05-31-2023 Ah, I understood Thank you |
