tear weakness limits - rheogh - 07-18-2023 I want to define this first. Is the weakness progressing from the strach state to each piece of fabric? I don't understand that there is a minimum and maximum weakness. For example, when it is min:10 max:20 Does it mean that weakness is applied when the strach value reaches 10%-20%?? Am I right in my understanding? RE: tear weakness limits - tyFlow - 07-18-2023 No the weakness limits just prevent the weakness multiplier for a particular binding from getting too extreme, in cases where a lot of tearing is happening. RE: tear weakness limits - rheogh - 07-18-2023 I understood in what circumstances to use it But I don't understand how to impose restrictions For example, min:0.15 max:2.5 0.15% to 2.5% weakness multiplier limit percentage for each binding? Please tell me what 0.15% to 2.5% means RE: tear weakness limits - tyFlow - 07-18-2023 Each binding has a weakness multiplier, so yes that restricts the min/max value of each binding's weakness multiplier. A weakness of less than 1 means it will be harder for the bind to tear, after neighbor bindings are torn. A weakness of greater than 1 means it will be easier for the bind to tear, after neighbor bindings are torn. If weakness gets too small, binds will effectively never tear. If weakness gets too large, binds will tear immediately. The limits prevent the values from getting too large or too small. |
