Is there anyway to make a car trail of dust / snow kicking up that's coming from the wheels like this guys done?

According to his page, he's using tyFlow for the snow particles, and PhoenixFD for the volumetric snow. So yes, tyFlow can do the former...but the latter has to be left up to PhoenixFD/FumeFX/etc...tyFlow doesn't have a volumetric fluid solver.
