VDB Differential Growth with collisions ? - Gregory - 10-08-2023 What would be the correct way to create a VDB differential growth, but within a confined space? That is, a regular VDB differential growth that happens amongst other objects, with proper collisions with those objects as the VDB grows and expands. Any suggestions, ideas, scene files or example perhaps ? Thanks, Greg RE: VDB Differential Growth with collisions ? - Gregory - 10-10-2023 Anyone? Tyson? Maybe this is not possible perhaps? RE: VDB Differential Growth with collisions ? - tyFlow - 10-11-2023 An Object to SDF operator, set to subtract (and timing set to continuous), can be used to clip differential growths, essentially acting as a collider. Oh... Right... Simple and elegant; didn't think of that! Will give it a try! Thanks a mil, Tyson! |
