Stop particles going through the faces of my cutout/object - F10Catherine - 12-07-2023

HiĀ

I am trying to achieve this look as per the ref image attached. So a mixed couple of random tube lengths meshed together that spread out from my cut-out/shape, as they spread the density will also get thinner.

I tried using spread on the faces but they don't stay on just the outer face and do start to spread inside my shape to. I have also tried Push & Pull which seemed more successful but still have moments where the particles cross the shape edge - examples attached.

Does anybody know of a better way to achieve this?

Thanks in advance!

hey
you could use a surface test , test for particles inside your shape and delete those
